What a lovely, appealing, and, yes, powerful article pointing out that the Etruscans were the predecessors to the Romans. Culturally, they may have been superior to their Roman descendants, although, politically, their love of independence was so strong that it attenuated the force of their culture. Having seen their works in both Rome and Firenze in September 2019, I was impressed with the development of so many things with which we erroneously credited the Romans. And the phrase "teachers of the teachers" was spot on.

I will continue to read and enjoy your work. Many thanks.
