Now that the Mueller Report has come out, showing nothing that would lead to the indictment of a sitting President, many on the right wing (and, of course, Trump’s base) are arguing that the investigation was a colossal waste of time and money, and that the American people were ill-served by this investigation. Nothing could be further from the truth.
