The Attention Whore in the White House
The British have a way with the English language, as do the Irish. We Americans could learn a thing or two from them.
As an example, when he went to England in July 2018, President Trump eschewed the normal protocols when in the presence of Her Majesty, the Queen of England. He walked in front of her, instead of by her side, and engaged in other inappropriate ways of interacting with her.
His boorish behavior, coupled with his already-intolerable public statements and policies, made his trip to London highly-aggravating to the English people, especially the younger, more progressive ones. The result? An effusion of slang, of derogatory epithets, which have the characteristic dash and élan of such a well-spoken people. The term which I think is most applicable to Trump is “cockwomble,” which means “A person, usually male, prone to making outrageously stupid statements and/or inappropriate behavior while generally having a very high opinion of his own wisdom and importance.”
