One lives and hopes, Lauren.

We need to see a massive turnout of Democrats at the polls in 2020 and every election thereafter. As I’ve previously written, we need to abolish (1) private money to fund public functions, (2) the Electoral College, (3) gerrymandering, and (4) the lifetime tenures of federal judges. I’ve written that “the judiciary is the last bastion of Privilege.” Trump and his crony, McConnell, have made it their mission to stuff the federal bench with a bunch of judicial troglodytes.

We hope that people finally acknowledge the fact that we have to do something to change our political structure. Cowards will not save us; only active, involved, progressive people who recognize that it is their actions which will preserve and enhance this country. In the absence of brave and massive actions on the part of its citizenry, the U.S. will simply be yet another dream piled on the ashcan of history.
