In an earlier time, when people met, one would ask: “How are you doing?” The other would answer: “I’m making a living.”

Nowadays, the honest response would be: “I’m making a dying.” Killing off the air we breathe, the water we drink, the soil we farm, the environments in which we live, and that “little blue-green mote in a ray of sunshine” (Carl Sagan) is no longer “Spaceship Earth.” Instead, it’s the hearse taking humanity to its collective grave…..
