I was involved in Amway for a short period in 1972-73. I thought it was too close to the blind-faith / faith-healer movements of the 1930s throughout the South (the Bible Belt). I quit because I didn't like or appreciate the evangelical spirit and the sense of "we're right and everyone else is wrong" that these simpletons absorbed as their DNA.

Now, the QAnon, Three Percenters, Wolverine Watchmen, and all the others of their ilk have been brainwashed into buying the same brand of bulls**t that the sellers of SA-8 and LOC were purveying for many years: America is the land of opportunity for "the Chosen Ones," but "the Chosen Ones" are under attack due to the changing demographics of our country.

The lack of critical thinking ability is a direct reflection of the deliberate dumbing-down of our students for the last 60 years, and we are now a pitiful laughingstock because of it.

I hope that someday we will wake up and learn how important it is to be able to THINK CLEARLY.
