Given McConnell’s Kentucky roots, I see buckets of tar and bags of feathers awaiting his return to Louisville for the November 2020 election. This bloviating gasbag may use his stentorian voice to declaim against what he considers to be “wasteful” legislation (read: laws that actually benefit people who are not the top 1/10th of 1% of the plutocracy), but the voice of the people will be heard come this November at the polling places…and it appears that McConnell will be headed for a well-deserved, and long-overdue, retirement.
