…Congress, It’s Time to

The need for testicular fortitude among the members of Congress is particularly great, these days.

Our President, governing as the schoolyard bully he is, has told Democrats to “assume the position.” Republicans, many of whom are toadying sycophants, have rushed to osculate his posterior for fear of his well-publicized anger.

So-called liberals say that they want the President’s financial history. Not gonna get it. Taxes? Schmaxes; he’ll never voluntarily provide them. They say they want him to set a good example by following the law. Following the Constitution, laws, rules, regulations, hell, traditions, are things his rebellious personality will never allow him to do. Protecting the environment, observing civil rights, coming up with sound economic principles and providing equally sound economic leadership, developing plans/proposals for healthy foreign trade, offering military proposals that dovetail closely with America’s foreign policy, devising education programs that will shed the trillions of dollars of student debt that predatory-capitalist institutions of higher education have created for the last couple of generations of students, all these and more…
