As the life comes to us, full of beautiful, positive energy, pulsing with excitement and enthusiasm for what it does not yet know, with hopes for its joys to be shared deeply by all those whom it loves, it is unbearable to consider the loss of that life, flickering out of our world, beyond the ken of mortal man, unable to bring us along for the ride….

Yet we know that the connection between us is quite real. It is the energy of Love, and that does not diminish over distance or time. The warmth of body against body, the sprinkling of a child’s tears on one’s shoulder, the flowers given by the grace of youth, the love so sublime that it transcends all boundaries, all these and more shield us from the Great Unknown into which our Loved One has entered.

As we see the stars twinkling down on us, we now know that Ewan is there, watching us, positive energy being sent our way, reflecting the love that was always there and will always be there, tying us together in that great cosmic string of past, present and future where affection and love know no bounds.

May Ewan always be in everything you say, think and do, and may you find serenity in knowing that he’s made this a better Universe by having been in it.
